About the yard

Winco Scrap Metal & Container was founded in 1997. It is a family and locally owned company, and the whole business comes down to one habit: put it on the scale, look at it honestly, and make a fair offer.

Trained technicians weigh and assess every load. That goes for a pickup bed of old appliances out of a basement as much as for a full truck, because the yard keeps a 35-foot truck scale on site and takes large truckloads of recyclable metal. Residential customers and commercial accounts come through the same gate and get the same treatment.

Winco is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. The company also supplies roll-off containers for demolition debris, construction debris, yard waste and metal, so one phone number covers both the job that makes the scrap and the scrap itself. Their line is simple: Recycling Makes Cents!
