24 Ward Ave, Moosup · since 1997
Copper, wire, aluminum, steel, stainless and e-scrap go across a 35-foot truck scale on Ward Ave. Containers land on your job within 24 hours of the call. Family and locally owned since 1997.
How a load gets paid
The 35-foot truck scale on site takes large truckloads of recyclable metal, so a pickup bed of copper pipe or a trailer of old appliances is weighed where it sits. Whether you have 10 pounds or 1,000, it goes across the same scale.
Winco's technicians weigh and assess what you bring, sort it by grade, and make a fair offer. Bare bright is not No. 2 copper, and 304 stainless is not 400 series, so clean, separated metal is where the better number comes from.
“The lady was very helpful to explain me the process of how I can use the scale and sell the metal.”
“It was my first time going to a scrap yard to get rid of some old appliances sitting around my basement and shed. It couldn't have been an easier or more pleasant experience.”
